As a member of City Council, my goal is to ensure that local government does its job: improving our city's and county's infrastructure and improving upon existing works so that your daily life in Broomfield is a great life.
Housing and rent costs are becoming out of reach for too many families. As an elected official of Broomfield, my goal and vision is to allow all Broomfielders the ability to live and thrive in our community. Increasing affordable housing, allowing for more housing options, and reinvesting city dollars are some of my priorities.
My goal as a member of City Council is to reduce carbon emissions in Broomfield. Broomfield can be more sustainable and work toward net-zero carbon emissions in our environment by expanding electric vehicle charging stations and allowing for more wind and solar energy to power our city. We should take careful consideration of our water usage and conservation to ensure that any growth is sustainable.
Broomfield should be a welcoming place for those of all races, genders, socioeconomic statuses, and sexual orientations. I promise to present a Broomfield for all and to make sure that we are a community in which diversity is a strength.
I want to make finishing the Town Square project a priority. This project is crucial to the development of our city since it will provide a concentrated community space for Broomfielders. This district will provide a much needed residential area with close retail space for our business community to grow as well. If we work hard to capitalize on the momentum so far, I know we can accomplish this project by the end of my term as City Council Member.
